His artistic work “Take it easy.” delves into a “trial of the process” in photography, showcasing a profound and introspective journey. Nikola emphasizes the importance of tangible prints, capturing the beauty and fеar in one’s personal reality, while diving in the process of photographic printmaking.

Nikola chooses the challenging Gum Bichromate process for his “Personal Reality” study. This intricate technique involves the hardening effect of light on a mixture of gum arabic, watercolor paint and dichromate metal salt. The final prints are produced by applying successive layers of the sensitizing mixture to paper and contact printing through a series of negatives.


The complexity of the process intertwines with Nikola Dyulgyarov personal approach, culminating in the ironic title “Take it easy.” . This amalgamation captures the essence of his attitude towards the photography, where the spirit of the author echoing.
